Description: It’s Becca’s last year of college, and also her last year of being in the Barden Bella’s – Becca’s a cappella group. After a humiliating performance the Bella’s decide to compete in an international a cappella competition that no American group has ever won in the hopes that they can regain some dignity… unfortunately they’ve completely lost all harmony within the group, both musically and non-musically

My Thoughts: I remember seeing a trailer for Pitch Perfect when it came out in cinemas and then watching it one time when I was ill, and I thought it was a decent film only really offensive…

Unfortunately this one wasn’t that much better on the offensive level, because it still was really offensive to almost all people…

The first song was really awful… which was kind of disappointing but it’s okay because later on in the film there were some really good songs!

I really loved the Barack Obama cameo at the start of the film!

At times I found it really funny, it was much funnier than the first one and it was funny without being offensive, unlike the last one where you were supposed to laugh at them being offensive. But this had some really good quality laughable moments.

It was never possible to tell what was going to happen, not in the storyline or to any of the characters.

I thought this film was really improved since the last one, the characters were better and more likeable and they had a more established relationship between each other which was good. I felt like I actually cared about and could relate to the characters whereas in the last one it was just a kind of silly comedy which didn’t really have all that much of a plot but this one did have a proper plot and you actually cared what happened and it was really good.

I feel like the popularity of a cappella groups is really unrealistic and overrated.

I missed Skylar Astin a little bit, I wish he had been in it  a bit more.

I really loved how it was kind of relatable and real, I love films where what happens is real, you know? Like graduating college and having to decide what to do with your life, doing work experience, going on holiday with your friends etc. just all normal things that normal people would do and do have to experience at some point in their lives (not necessarily the going on holiday bit) and they always kind of enlighten me and make me excited about the future and all the great things to come ahead and how there are more great times ahead than you’ve left behind and that kind of thing. Basically what I’m saying is these kind of films make me happy.

After I finished watching the first Pitch Perfect I was kind of annoyed and disappointed that it wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be and it was silly and offensive. With this one I finished it and I kind of just wanted to watch it again and I still do kind of want to watch it now while I’m writing this, it’s so unbelievable that the first one could be so different and so much worse than this one and this was actually a really good film!

If you watched the first film because you thought it was your kind of thing and you thought it was going to be good and like me, you were disappointed and it’s stopped you from watching this one thinking you’re going to be watching the same silly stupid film then you are really mistaken, this is exactly how I imagined the first one should have been and better, and I really suggest watching it!

Strangely and unexpectedly but with great pleasure I give this film 5/5 stars!
